Topo 750 Romsdalseggen is a detailed map that covers over 750 km2. Here you will find both hiking trails and accommodations that are clearly marked on the map. The map covers the area from Romsdalsfjorden in the west, through Åndalsnes and Isfjorden to Eikesdalsvatnet in the east. The trip to Romsdalseggen is a great, but demanding trip. The trip starts either by Isfjorden or Åndalsnes and the path up is well marked. At the top you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Romsdal mountains. Romsdalen can also offer many impressive mountain peaks such as Kongen, Dronningen, Romsdalshorn and Store Trolltind. In addition, the map covers Trollstigen, Rampestreken and the popular Trollveggen, which with a vertical cliff of about 1000 m makes it Europe's highest mountain wall and is a favorite destination for climbers. Norway's longest cable car, which takes you 708 meters above sea level, is also worth a visit. Romsdalsgondolen, which was opened in May 2021, takes you up the mountainside from Åndalsnes to Nesaksla where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. The cable car is a perfect starting point for hiking in the Romsdal mountains. Topo 750 is a detailed trail 1:50,000 scaled map with information from the Norwegian Mapping Authority. The map includes hiking trails, skiing trails and overnight accommodations. Trekking information is in bold type for better legibility. The trail map covers more than 3000 km2 and has been adapted to include several popular trekking areas.
The maps are printed on durable and weatherproof plastic fibre or paper material.
The series is continuously being updated to four different languages: Norwegian, English, German and Dutch.
